Honda attended the Indonesian Auto Show on August 20th in order to to advertise the BR-V, a new small SUV with 3 rows of seats the Japanese.

This new model from Honda will be available initially in the Indonesian market, it mainly emphasizes some aggressive body traits, as well as the headlights that incorporate LED’s, 16-inch wheels, a great distance from the ground and also comes with mounted rails ceiling.

What is striking is the large interior space that accommodates seven passengers thanks to its three rows of seats. The Honda BR-V employs a 1.5-liter four-cylinder with 120 hp at 6,600 rpm and produces 121 pound-feet of torque at 4,600 rpm (the same as used Honda Fit and Honda City). This engine can be coupled to a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic.

To safeguard the passengers front air bags are standardly equipped as well as brakes with ABS technology and electronic brake distribution, hill start assistant and stability control are features included in the base B-RV.

The Honda B-RV is based on a minivan called Mobilio that is sold in some markets in India, Indonesia and Thailand. Now its a little more difficult since it will try to compete in a market where there are: Suzuki S-Cross, Renault Duster or Hyundai Crete so we are excited to see what results this brings for the Japanese auto maker.
