We previously named the best vehicles for fuel economy, now it’s time to do quite the opposite, let’s talk about the worst fuel economy vehicles in Canada. The always-rising price of gasoline make us think a little bit more in the vehicles we want to acquire. Nowadays it seems like environmental friendly vehicles are a trend. It seems like every company in the automobile industry is putting out more and more eco-friendly vehicles, however, there are some other companies ignoring the trend and keep putting out vehicles which require tons of gasoline to fully perform.
Let’s take a look at some of the worst fuel economy vehicles in Canada (Keep in mind that these vehicles are really harmful to the environment and global warming is a reality!)
Our first pick is the Bugatti Veyron, this is a vehicle manufactured by the German manufacturer Volkswagen, it is developed in Germany and manufactured in France. It has a top speed of 407km/h and it was named car of the decade back in 2000. This vehicle features an 8-liter engine. This vehicle has a starting price of $2,400,000. However, among all the good things about this vehicle it has a rating of 10MPG making it one of the most inefficient cars you can buy today.
Our next pick is the Ford E350 Club Wagon. This vehicle had its first generation in 1961 and it has had five generations ever since. This vehicle has 11MPG which makes it some of the worst vehicles for fuel economy.
The next car you should stay away from is the Lexus LFA. This is a two-seat luxury vehicle manufactured in Japan. This is an expensive vehicle with a starting price of $350,000. It has a top speed of 326 km/hr which makes it one of the fastest vehicles in the world, however, it has 12MPG, which will make you spend a lot of money on gas. But if you could afford this vehicle in the first place, we really doubt you can’t afford the gas for it!
Number fifth is occupied by a classic, a vehicle that has been around forever, The Chevy Suburban. This vehicle has been a really profitable vehicle for GMC. It has had 12 generations ever since it was first released. This vehicle is also named a very safe vehicle to travel due to its safety features. Its fuel mileage of 12MPG has been the same ever since the vehicle was released, and that is definitely a con nowadays.
The Ford Raptor occupies the next spot in our chart for worst fuel economy vehicles in Canada, this vehicles drinks one gallon of gas every 13 miles. The Raptor is powered by a 411 hp 6.2-Liter V8 and it is paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Do you think these features are worth a gallon of gas every 13 miles?
The next spot is for the Lamborghini Aventador, 13MPG. This vehicle has a starting price of $393,000. This vehicle might be a luxury vehicle, but the gas it needs to perform is way too much!
